An extra Christmas gift for the #GiftMeHaggis winners
Last week I announced a fantastic Christmas gift competition in my blog post #GiftMeHaggis: A Christmas gift for you from Haggis Adventures!
Thank you for sharing your Christmas with us!
Last week Travelholic Nomad and I were exploring the Scottish Highlands with Haggis Adventures on the Mega Highland Christmas tour. We had an amazing time! While we were sharing our Christmas with you, we wanted you to return the favour and share your Christmas with us. And you did, and we loved looking through your photos! As much as travel bloggers love to share travel experiences, we do also love to gain inspiration from others too, so it was great to see how you were spending the holiday season – thanks!
Those of you who entered were asked to follow HaggisTours on Instagram, upload your Christmas selfies and tag them #GiftMeHaggis.
3 lucky #GiftMeHaggis winners
Haggis Adventures teamed up with their Celtic cousins Shamrocker Adventures in Ireland, to offer one lucky person a fantastic Christmas gift – a 3 day Southern Rocker tour of Ireland with Shamrocker Adventures worth £169!! The competition to win an extra Christmas gift this year ended when our Mega Highland Christmas tour ended on Boxing Day. Travelholic Nomad and I sat in a nice little pub up in Edinburgh and looked through all your entries.
First place
Talia Myers’ entry received the most likes for this photo and so Talia has won herself the Southern Rocker tour!
Our favourite photos
Travelholic Nomad and I were invited to choose our favourite entries and those two winners will receive a Haggis Adventures t-shirt! The following are our favourite photos.
My favourite photo
I chose this photo by Ava Klein because I love the hairy coos – or Highland cows, if you don’t speak Scottish! 😀
Travelholic Nomad’s favourite photo
We both loved this entry from Brad Fraser who was working through Christmas but still managed to show his festive spirit and join in the fun!
A few Christmas selifies from us!
Of course we couldn’t join in the competition but we made sure we took our share of Christmas selfies too! 😀
